Message from Bill Burns

Nancy and I have been married 40 blissful years on July 19^th

I was thinking I really wanted to do something special for her and decided I will take her to a really special place in my heart that she will really enjoy and remember. Now remember it’s a surprise…..

I am going to take her for a weekend to Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri for the opening day of the 2015 K.C. Chiefs summer camp. The day will begin at Quick Trip for some hot coffee on our way to the “special place.”

Our first stop will be at Union Station in Kansas City to visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame “Gridiron Glory” and visit the exhibit. After seeing the exhibit, I will take Nancy to Town Topic on S.W. Blvd. before heading out. After lunch, we will begin driving north for about an hour or so. I made motel reservations at Super 8 for the night in St. Joe, Missouri.

After a night of tickle tickle we will get up early to make the K.C. Chiefs opening day of summer camp which begins at 8:15 am and will run approximately two hours and 40 minutes. After practice I will let Nancy stay to get autographs of her favorite Chiefs players. Being so close to the players, there’s nothing like it. They’re such a good team, players coming over and talking to fans and engaging and signing autographs, Nancy will probably pee her pants. Those are things she doesn’t get on game day at the stadium.

This wedding anniversary will be one she will never forget! I wanted to share my excitement with all of you because it took a lot of thinking and thought process to come up with this very special 40^th wedding anniversary surprise for Nancy!
