Queen Maggie Deery
October 17th will mark 45 years with many magic moments in our Homecoming of 1969. Homecoming Mass brought deep inner thoughts and prayers of thanksgiving. The Senior float shared our theme, “This Magic Moment.” An all-school parade and pep rally was held to spur the mighty Cyclones on to victory.
Dorney field became a playground of balloons, floats, girls, cheerleaders, escorts and homecoming Queen Candidates. And the Homecoming Court danced to “Hey Jude” – in retrospect probably one of the hardest Beatles’ tunes to dance to!! But it was a magic time nonetheless.
